Microsoft Teams

  • Overview

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration and productivity solution within Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) that acts as a central hub for workplace conversations, collaborative teamwork, and document sharing.

Whether it’s chat, calls, or video, anyone can engage at any time, bringing everyone closer. Multiple chat rooms or channels can be created within a Team, and to help keep chats easy to follow, conversations are threaded, flow from top to bottom, and notify users of updates.

Need face-to-face conversation? Not a problem with Microsoft Teams as users can jump straight into voice or video chats with other channel participants with a single click. Microsoft Teams’ regular group video chat now supports a maximum of 300 participants. Teams can also support live events with up to 20,000 participants with an Advanced Communications Licence for Microsoft Teams.

Designed with collaboration in mind to get people to work more productively while making use of the integration of the other Microsoft 365 apps. Microsoft Teams enables employees to easily set up a meeting with calendars, create and share content, call team members easily, and more.

✔️ Enable secure remote working – work from anywhere and on a wide range of devices including PCs, Laptops, Smart Phones, and Tablets. Compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and it’s also available on the web.
✔️ Reduce email clutter by utilising quick chats instead of lengthy email threads.
✔️Promote productivity and collaboration with instant, automatic sync and version control.
✔️ Teams is customisable to the way your company – and individual departments – want to work

Teams can also integrate with HostX, the hosted telephone system, to enable seamless communication whether you’re chatting to a colleague or calling a customer.
